Our Breeding

On this page, you will find information about upcoming litters, our approach to breeding, and what you can expect as a puppy buyer when welcoming a puppy from us.

Upcoming breeding plans

Our Jytte is planned to be bred to the beautiful Pilot at her next heat, and we are therefore hoping for puppies in the summer of 2026!

Our approach to puppies

At Corgiroonies, our puppies grow up as a natural part of the family, right in the heart of everyday life at home. They live indoors with us and are introduced early to everyday sounds, people, and routines, giving them a secure foundation as family dogs.

We create stable and caring surroundings with a focus on calmness, structure, and presence. Each puppy is followed individually and gradually introduced to handling, grooming, and short periods of separation, allowing them to develop confidence and independence at their own pace.

Our goal is for every puppy to leave us as a secure, healthy, and confident little dog, ready to become a cherished part of their new family.

We place great emphasis on early socialisation and environmental training, as this forms the foundation for a resilient and mentally sound Welsh Corgi Cardigan. The puppies are gradually introduced to a variety of everyday experiences — meeting other dogs and people, new sounds, car rides, and different surfaces and environments.

In this way, they learn to find calmness and security in many different situations. Socialization is adapted to the puppies’ developmental stages and individual needs: some experiences they are encouraged to face independently, while others are introduced within the litter, where they can support one another. Our goal is for our puppies to grow into curious, trusting, and well-balanced dogs, able to thrive naturally in an active family life – both in Denmark and around the world.

Our puppy journey

Getting a puppy from Corgiroonies is about finding the right match – not first come, first served. We take the time to get to know our future puppy families, ensuring that both puppy and family have the best possible foundation for a long life together.

01.

Get to know us and the breed

Start by following our kennel and learning about our values, breeding goals, and dogs. It is important to us that you feel at home with the way we breed and live with our dogs.

02.

Send us a message

When you feel that our kennel and the breed fit your life, you are welcome to send us a personal inquiry. Tell us about yourself, your everyday life, your experience, and what you are dreaming of in a dog.

03.

Matching process

We take the time for open dialogue, where we talk together about expectations, lifestyle, and needs. As the puppies grow and develop, we carefully match each puppy with the family that best suits its individual temperament.

04.

Visit & final decision

When the puppies are old enough, we invite you for a visit. Here we get a sense of the connection – and if everything feels right for both sides, you become part of the Corgiroonies family.

Breeding & Pedigree

Within the Danish Kennel Club (DKK), there are two types of pedigrees: Basic and Basic Plus.

To obtain a Basic Plus pedigree, both parent dogs must, in addition to meeting the breed’s breeding requirements, also fulfil the breed’s breeding recommendations.

We plan our breedings with a strong focus on health, temperament, and true breed characteristics, ensuring that all parent dogs meet the relevant requirements and recommendations before proceeding with a litter.
