News

Here we share small and big moments from life with our dogs — including updates on breeding, shows, future plans, and everyday life at Corgiroonies.

21/03/2026 – Herman is now 1 year old!

It has been an absolute joy to watch this sweet, funny and expressive boy grow up – always full of personality and with a way of making us smile.

We look forward to following his continued development and seeing what the future holds for this very special young male.

11/02/2026 – Herman has been evaluated

Herman has today undergone an exterior evaluation as part of the breeding approval process, with the aim of meeting the breed’s breeding recommendations and thereby qualifying for a pedigree with an official notation (BASIS+).

Herman was evaluated by judge Helle Bekker and received the grading “Excellent”, along with very positive verbal feedback.

02/02/2026 – Pregnancy scan of Jytte

It has now been approximately 32 days since Jytte’s ovulation. Today we attended a pregnancy scan, but unfortunately the scan did not show any puppies this time.

We expect Jytte to come into season again towards the end of June, when we will be trying again.

03/01/2026 – Jytte has been mated to Pilot!

Jytte was mated twice with Pilot this weekend, both times through natural mating, and everything went exactly as it should. Now we are keeping our fingers crossed for puppies!

08/12/2025 – New International Champion!

Today we received the official letter, diploma, and confirmation of Jytte’s title International Beauty Champion (C.I.B.). This title is achieved over a minimum period of one year and one day from the date of the first CACIB. Jytte has earned a total of nine (9) CACIBs, all of which are listed on her diploma.

12/11/2025 – The show season has come to an end!

The show season has come to an end, and Jytte finishes 2025 as the most winning Welsh Corgi Cardigan bitch in the Danish Kennel Club. This placed her 2nd overall (Reserve) as DKK Breed Winner 2025.

We are incredibly proud!
